This is a great magazine for kids ages 9-14. The articles are interesting and my kiddo liked doing the puzzles inside. Overall, the quality of the magazine is high: nice paper, well thought out design, great articles and graphics. This makes for a nice gift.
The girl power issue alone is amazing, but all 4 of these magazines are a hit with me & my 6 and 8-year-old daughters. My kids immediately read aloud their favorite passages, like the female athlete comic and the animal facts that redefine power to include stereotypically feminine attributes. There are so many fun, encouraging activities in these magazines that my kids have gotten hours of entertainment and more importantly, a boost in self-confidence. I highly highly recommend for all the little future leaders in your life.
